Woman beaten by police
ASI Gajendra Katuwal of temporary police post in Ulti has beaten Shova Mehata of Nar Singh Rural Municipality-7 after not giving the illegal amount that he demanded for.
The victim was stopped by the police on November 5 while she was brining some stuff for household from the border. She was beaten by the police without any interrogation according to the locals.
Local D.K Yadav said that the police asked for the money at first and attacked the woman after she denied.
The victim underwent treatment at local medical. She did not make any complaints yet according to victim. DSP Gyanendra Phuyal of DPO said that he is un aware about the incident.
