Update of October 25 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people have reached 158,089 after additional 2,856 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on October 25, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 111,670 have been discharged after recovery. On October 25, the rate of recovery reached 70.6% along with the 3,336 latest discharged after treatment. The ministry reported that 45,502 people are being treated. Out of which, 32,593 are in home isolation, 277 are being treated in ICU and 66 are being treated with the support of the ventilators. Till now, the death toll has reached 847. According to the Ministry, 12,311 number of swabs tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
