Update of November 1 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people have reached 173,567 after additional 2,824 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 1, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 134,842 have been discharged after recovery. On November 1, the rate of recovery reached 77.7% along with the 3,620 latest discharged after treatment. The ministry reported that 37,765 people are being treated. Out of which, 31,394 are in home isolation, 283 are being treated in ICU and 78 are being treated with the support of the ventilators. Till now, the death toll has reached 960. According to the Ministry, 13,023 number of swabs tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
