Update of March 26 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 276,665 after additional 153 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 26, 2021.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 272,342 of the total infected have recovered.
On March 26, the rate of recovery reached 98.4% along with the 70 latest recovered. According to the Ministry, 4,416 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
Till now, the death toll has reached 3,024. There are 1,299 in isolation.
According to Kaski representative Sushan Ghimire, there has been an increase in the COVID-19 infection in Machhapuchhre rural municipality-4 of Kaski district.
Ward Chairperson Shankar Nepali informed that all non-essential activities have been requested to be stopped from March 25 until further notice.
He informed that shops, schools, government offices have been closed, conventions have been stopped, and public transport has been closed.
He said that the locals have been requested to follow the instructions issued by the ward to control the spread of the disease as the number of infected people in Lahachok in Ward No. 4 is still high.
