Update of February 24 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 273,760 after additional 94 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on February 24, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 270,131 of the total infected have recovered. On February 24, the rate of recovery reached 98.7% along with the 71 latest recovered. Till now, the death toll has reached 2,684. According to the Ministry, 3,692 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. The status report released by the Ministry on February 24 showed the death toll to be 619 in 24 hours. Out of the infected ones, 937 are in isolation.
