Update of February 25 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 273,872 after additional 112 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on February 25, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 270,223 of the total infected have recovered. On February 25, the rate of recovery reached 98.7% along with the 84 latest recovered. Till now, the death toll has reached 2,767. According to the Ministry, 3,411 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. The status report released by the Ministry on February 24 showed the death toll to be 619 in 24 hours, while 83 people died on February 25. Out of the infected ones, 882 are in isolation.
