Update of February 13 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 272,614 after additional 57 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on February 13, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 268,929 of the total infected have recovered. On February 13, the rate of recovery reached 98.7% along with the 133 latest recovered. The ministry reported that 1,631 people are being treated. Out of which 649 are in home isolation, 56 are being treated in ICU, and 17 are being treated with the support of the ventilators. Till now, the death toll has reached 2,054. on February 13, According to the Ministry, 1,900 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. There aren’t any active cases in Bhojpur, Solukhumbu, Sankhusabha, Mustang, Rukum West, Mugu and Achham while Kathmandu has more than 500 active cases.
