Update of April 20 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 287,567 after additional 1,667 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 20, 2021. Out of the total number of tests conducted, 12.2% were diagnosed positive.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 275,806 of the total infected have recovered.
On April 20, the rate of recovery reached 95.9% along with the 251 latest recovered. According to the Ministry, 8,055 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
Till now, the death toll has reached 3,102. There are 8,659 in isolation. There are more than 500 active cases in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Banke.
