Update of April 18 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 284,673 after additional 1015 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 18, 2021. Out of them, 413 were females and 602 were males and 112 were below the age of 19.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 275,300 of the total infected have recovered.
On April 18 the rate of recovery reached 96.7% along with the 262 latest recovered. According to the Ministry, 5,084 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
Till now, the death toll has reached 3,083. There are 6,290 in isolation.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 12 people were infected with COVID-19 in Udayapur and two in Chitwan on April 18. Of them, two have been cured and 28 are undergoing treatment.
