Update of 18 July Regarding Corona Virus Infection
In Nepal, till 16 July, 17,502 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 11,637 people have been discharged after treatment, 5,825 are being treated and 40 have died till date due to the disease. In the past 24 Hours, 3,331 PCR have been conducted, out of which 103 were tested positive. Till date, 66.5% of the total infected have recovered. The highest number of active cases on 18 July 2020, was diagnosed at Sudur Paschim Province. There are 2,352 active cases as of 18 July.
Provincial Reports
In Province 2, till 18 July 2020, there have been 4,486 infected people out of which 2,633 have been discharged after recovery. At present, there are 1,844 infected people. Till 18 July, six have died in the province.
