Two Witch Doctors beaten to death in Dhading
A 52-year old Narung Tamang and 64-year old Plek Tamang were beaten to death by the locals in according to police.
The victims were accused of being the witch so the locals attacked and killed both of them.
The villagers severely have beaten both witch doctors on charge of spelling black magic to them. The villagers were summoned to the ward office for discussion however both victims had already succumbed to the injury caused by beating according to vice-chair Angila Tamang of Gangajamuna Rural Municipality
According to a local, people gathered in a funeral procession in their neighborhood committed this incident by blaming these two witch doctors (Jhakri) for their misdeed against helpless animals and even people.
The further investigation of this incident is underway as per SP Dambar Bishwokarma from Dhading District Police Office.
The locals have already cremated the dead bodies before the police could reach there.
