Two more arrested to investigate Nirmala Murder
The District Police Office has arrested 2 more people for investigation regarding the killing of Nirmala Panta. The arrested were 22 years old Babita Bom of Bhim Datta Municipality-18 and 14 years old Roshani Bom.
DSP Kuber Kadayat of District Police Office said that Roshani Bom was taken into control for investigation as Nirmala Panta was on the way to her house to do home work from where she went missing and was found dead in a sugarcane field. It was also the demand from the victim’s parents that they should be investigated.
The situation of Mahendranagar became more tensed after 15 years old Sanni Khuna died in a police firing during the demonstration. Since then indefinite curfew was imposed by the administration from8 Pm to 8 Am.
Khuna who died in a police firing was cremated on August 25 in the bank of Mahakali River after he was declared as martyr by Nepal Government.
Meanwhile, INSEC district representative Hari Ram Uprety of Gorkha said that a memorandum has been handed over to the Prime Minister through CDO Narayan Bhattarai for the fair investigation of the incident.
