Three people held on charge of abduction
Police have arrested three people on December 11 on charge of abducting and taking hostile of seven years old boy Maijuf Alam , son of Mohamed Saddam of Supaul District of Bihar State in India. The boy was taken to Nepal and was taken hostage.
The victim was abducted by the accused on December 6 and was taken hostage in Nepal. Police have arrested 47 years old Badri Yadav of Gaurigang Rural Municipality-6, 31 years old Shre Prasad Malaha of the same place and 27 years old wife Anju Mukhiya.
The boy was abducted on December 6 while he was playing near his home and was taken to Deurali Hotel at Damak, room number 107, before taking him into hostile. He was rescuded by the police and was handed over to the family members according to DSP Mahendra Kumar Shrestha of DPO.
From the victim’s family, the accused had demanded for 1.5 million IC as a extortion money according to DSP Shrestha.
He was rescued by Nepal police in coordination with Indian Police. All accused are taken into custody for further investigation.
