Three injured in a clash with police
Three people were injured in a clash with police when protesters were agitating demanding the action against those involved in a murder of Binu Thapa Pulami,24 of Tanhu VDC-7.
The injured are Amar Bahadur Batha and Mankumari Rana. Similarly, policeman Jitendra Bista is also injured in a clash. They are undergoing treatment at District Hospital.
They have been protesting to take action against Binu’s husband Deependra Basyal for his involvement in her murder. Police said that Deependra is at large since the incident. The police have taken Deependra’s father and mother into custody for the investigation on November 26.
Binu was missing since long time and her body was exhumed by the police from the bank of Ramdi Ghat on November 24. Binu and Deependra had an inter-caste marriage four years ago.
SP Hari Raj Wagle of District Police Office showed his commitment to find the guilt involved in her murder and urged the locals to stop the agitation.
