Three Dies due to flood and incessant rain, life affected
At least three people have lost their lives due to the flood by incessant rain. The victims were children. Due to the rain on August 12 at least two people died after their house collapsed. The flood in Jamuni River in Pachrauta Village council has claimed life of 70 years old Brhama Dev Mahato.
In a same day, 45 years old Gahani Devi Paswan died after her house collapsed in Simraungadh Municipality-8, Kocharwa. Similarly, Nuren Miya’s 12 years old son Maiphuj Miya died after drowning in flood in Bhutahi River at Mahagadhi Mai Municipality-1.
Families in Jamuni, Tiyar, Thalahi, Dudhaura, Bangari, Pasaha, Aduwa, Lalbakaiya including other places are pleading for relief and support. According to Police Sub-Inspector Raj Kumar Baidyabar, more than 20,000 familes are waiting for immediate relief.
