Three Cadres of Nepal Communist Party arrested
Police have arrested three cadres of Nepal Communist Party from various parts of Ilam on charge of operating anti-election activities and removing the signboard of local level.
The arrestees were 23 years old Om Prakash Gharti, 28 years old Salu Budathoki and her husband 23 years old Dhan Bahadur Magar. According to DSP Mahendra Kumar Shrestha, Om Prakash was arrested from Gajurmukhi, Salu from Phakphokthum village council and Dhan Bahadur from Deumai municipality-9.
According to the police, Dhan Bahadur and Om Prakash are party’s cadres where as Salu is coordinator of Nepal Communist Party, AKHIL Nepal Women Federation. The party in charge Trilochan accused police of arresting their cadres while doing peaceful political activities.
