Team of NHRC in Flood affected area
A regional office of NHRC Janakpur has observed more than a dozen of flood affected village in Saptari. The team had observed Tilathi village at Koiladi Village council-1 on July 4.
Acting regional director Deependra Singh of the commission along with media person Shyam Mishra, Shailendra Mahato and Govinda Mahato had gathered the information of flood affected area and human rights situation of the people in the district.
The team had met with the locals and discussed about the possible precaution to be adopted to avoid the situation. The team had also observed bordering area of No Mans Land (Dasgaja).
Acting director Singh said that long term solid work is needed to avoid yearly flood disaster in these area.
