Informal Sector Service Center(INSEC) has a serious drawn attention on a series of bomb explosion incidents in various schools in the capital. The press release signed by INSEC chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel on September 20 has condemned the incidents.
“This act is against the norms and sentiment of Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948 and convention on children rights 1989. This has also breached children rights In acted in Act 39 of Nepal Constitution,” according to the statement.
The statement further demanded Nepal Government to be sensitive on ensuring security of civilians. It has also demanded to take immediate action against the accused of the incident.
Meanwhile, Accountability Watch Committee (AWC) has also released a press statement and condemned the incident along with the identification of guilt and action against them.
The committee said that repetition of such incident is the result of impunity. The statement said that it is the result of immunity given to the criminal activities of armed conflict incident in support of politics. A recent incident of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal meeting Resham Chaudhary,an absconding convict, in India shows that this government is committed to institutionalize the impunity in the country, the statement said.
