Support needed on preventing human trafficking: Speaker of the Parliament
Speaker of the parliament of legislative parliament, Onsari Gharti Magar said everyone’s support is necessary to prevent human trafficking as it is a heinous crime.
She expressed her views while addressing the program in Kathmandu to mark 11th National day against human trafficking.
She added that the society is facing distortion and everyone must show their commitment to end such practices.
Women, Children and Social welfare Minister Asha Koirala said that the human trafficking prevailing in our society is multi-dynamic and global issue and Government of Nepal is committed to solve this issue.
She added that the huan trafficking has violated the freedom of people and this has been upcoming as a serious problem in our society. The government is working in a planned manner to solve this issue according to her.
Prior to this, a morning rally was organized by women and children welfare ministry from Bhrikuti Mandap to mark the day.
