Sun Kumari Cremated in Bhairahawa, government to look after her daughter

Sun Kumari Nepali, 38 of Rolpa Thawang who sccumbed the injury from her husband’s beating was cremated in Bhairahawa on November 15.

Seriously injured Nepali passed away while under going treatment at medical college in Bhairahawa on November 12.

She sustained a serious injury on her head, face, jaws and bruises all over her body. After she could not be treated at local Gharti Gaun, she was referred to Bhairahawa for further treatment.

Lumbini Press Club had started a “save Sun Kumari” campaign in the district for financial support for her treatment as she was in a severe financial crisis.

Meanwhile, CDO Bishnu Prasad Dhakal of Rupendehi said that the government will take responsibility for the daughter of Sun Kumari.

He added ” as there are no body to look after her daughter, government will take full responsibility for her education, health and other issues.” She is under the protection of Child wale fare committee of the district.
