Student’s study affected due to the lack of toilets
The students complained that their studies have been affected due to the lack of toilets in most of the schools in the district.
The female students complained that their studies were affected during their menstruation period as the schools do not have girl student friendly toilets.
Out of 545 schools of the districts, very few of them have girl’s friendly toilets.
As per the academic session of 2017, out of 82,000 students, 46,000 are girls.
The young girls, through child network and child club, have demanded the concerned authorities to provide water and sanitary pad in each schools.
