Students from Majhi Community facing difficulties going to School
The Studies of Majhi Community has been affected due to the uneasy access of schools. They are facing difficulties to go to the school and dropping out rate is increasing as their schools are very far from the place they live.
The nearest school is three and half hours far from the place they live according to principal Pawan Kumar Basnet of Panchakaushika Elementary School.
Out of 24 Majhi families, only three have completed SLC. The dropping out rate of the students of this community is increasing because of this reason.
Principal said that the economic condition of Majhi community is poor and students from this community are compelled to take a rented room to do their studies which they cannot afford.
