Students at standard 7,8,9 and 10 of Bhagwati High school at Deumaya Municipality are facing course book crunches. The half yearly examiniation is commencing from September 21 however they do not have any books to study.
The attention of school administration has been drawn from time to time regarding the issue however there has been no initiation taken by the administration said parent Til Bikram Limbu.
Principal Pushpa Chaulagain of the school said that shortages in book is a normal case.
However, District Education Office claims that necessary amount has been already deposited in school’s account in May according to branch officer Nirmal Dhungel of DEO.
“We send remaining 25 percent of amount to the school only after getting the bill of 75 percent of the amount that has been already deposited”, said Dhungel. He added that Bhagwati school has been provided fund already in July.
