State’s body committed to protect and promote Human Rights: Regional Administrators
Western Regional administrator Khagraj Baral said that the state’s body is committed to protect and promote Human Rights of the people. He said that while speaking at the blood donation program organized jointly by Western magna meet committee and National Human Rights regional office of Pokhara on the occasion of 68th International Human Rights Day.
Regional administrator Baral inaugurated the program by handing over a “Blood Bag” to Human Rights Officer Jyoti Ghimire.
The main slogan of this year’s Human Rights day is “Our voice, our participation, our inclusion based on development.”
The participants of the program said that right to life is a major rights of people and to begin the program with blood donation is very important.
In blood donation program 26 units of blood were collected according to organizer Shiva Khakurel coordinator of INSEC western regional office.
