Stakeholders Stresses on one door system for NGOs
The stakeholders speaking at the program organized by INSEC in Kathmandu on “Stakeholders views on policy and law relating to civil organization” stressed on one door system for NGOs to perform their activities. The discussion program was organized on July 29.
While speaking at the program, INSEC chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel stressed that coordination among NGOs will only help country to step towards prosperity.
He added “ Civil organization is a group of people free from every kind of pressure and working in freedom. The country cannot move forward by restricting the civil organizations.”
Treasurer Jit Ram lama of NGO federation Nepal said that NGOs must be categorized based on the nature of their work and all three levels of the government must coordinate on that. He added that registration, renew and getting permission must be from one door.
