Social justice must be established without pressure: Chairperson Sharma
National Human Rights Commissioner Anup Raj Sharma said that social justice without the pressure must be established. He expressed his view while speaking at the memorial prize distribution program regarding Tej Bahadur Bhandari and Tej Bahadur Bhandari who were enforcedly disappeared by the state.
He also added that some positive changes were also seen after the armed conflict.
He also said that the commission is not being able to operate properly because TRC and CIEDP are not operating within the stipulated time frame.
The commissions must be operated without any political intervention. Speaking at the program, justice Komal Prasad Acharya said that the movement of justice will be incomplete until the state fails to answer about the disappeared people.
