Rights Activists have the Courage to Fight with Thoughts Rather than Weapons: Chairman Sharma

In a rally organized on the occasion of 71st International human rights day and 11th National human rights meet on 10 December, National Human Rights Commission Chairman Mr. Anoop Raj Sharma spoke that human rights activist are very strong as they have a courage to fight with thoughts rather than weapons. He further added that the motive of various organization coming together to organize the rally in Kathmandu is to unite and work together in the issues of human rights.

“Despite ending the period of weapon use, it has not ensured the proper rights of humans and everyone should be attentive towards this matter “. – Mr. Sharma told.   Chairman of Non-Government Organization Federation Mr. Jitram Lama said that human rights should not be distributed in different categories like rights for women or Caste but rather it should be voiced together as human rights for all and then only there would not be any delay in getting the rights.

With the slogan “Human rights for all are the cornerstone of sustainable Development” a rally was organized in from Brikuti Mandap to Shanti Vatika in Kathmandu.
