Rights activists demands transparency on TRC process
The Accountability Watch Committee (AWC) had shown its serious concern on delaying the process of transitional justice process and its lack of transparency. The committee has also demanded for the immediate address of the past issues.
The committee while releasing a press statement on April 10 has drawn the attention of the concerned authority to make the TJ process more transparent.
“ The committee welcomes the attempt of the present government to amend oTRC and CIEDP act 2015 as per the historical verdict from the Supreme Court in 2015 February 26. But, at the same time shows its concern on lack of transparency:, says the statement.
The committee has demanded for to ensure the minimum demand of the victims, reformation of the commissions and to respect the international community legal liabilities.
