Right activists urges to be sensitive on rape incidents
The rights activists of the district have handed over the memorandum to CDO urging to be more sensitive on the increasing trend of rape.
NHRC, INSEC, WOREC including other organizatiosn have jointly handed over the memorandum to CDO Ramesh KC on August 23.
They reminded the incident when police administration denied of registering the rape case of 14 years old girl few days ago and urged to be sensible on such serious issue.
There is an average of four rape cases in daily basis and victim are facing difficulties on getting justice. The citizens of Morang are concerned on such issue and memorandum is handed over to make them more responsible on rape incidents according to coordinator Som Raj Thapa of INSEC for province 1.
