Report on Federalism enforcement and Administration Re: Structure presented to P.M

The federalism enforcement and Administration Restructuring Coordination Committee has presented its report on the expansion of the single and concurrent list of competencies of the federalism, province and local level to the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday.

The report was handed over by the Committee’s Chief Secretary Som Lal Subedi based on the list of competencies in schedule 5,6,7,8 and 9 of the constitution of Nepal.

According to the Prime Minister and council ministers, the distractive committee will table the report to the Council of Minister.

The report was prepared in coordination of assistant secretary of Prime Minister and Ministry Cabinet with direct participation of 40 assistant secretaries.

The report is prepared after receiving recommendations based on discussions and interactions with stakeholders and experts. The report has identified a total of 1,795 acts and activities including 870 related to federation, 565 of the province and 360 of the local bodies according to RSS.
