Relief Distributed to People Returning From India

The Nepalese returning from India were provided relief on 27 May in coordination with Nepal Medical College, organizations and INSEC Nepalgunj.

The relief was distributed to those returning from India due to the increasing rate of coronavirus infection. It was distributed around Nepalgunj custom office.

According to DR Nitesh Kanodiya, the distribution will continue for a week from 27 May and will be continued if required. He said this was done, to make sure that those who have returned do not suffer from hunger. Around 1700 people come every day from Nepalgunj custom. They were provided Biscuits, Noodles and water.

INSEC’s Province 5 coordinator Bhola Mahat said, those who have returned losing their job, this gesture will at least make them feel relieved for some time.

In this relief distribution, there were SP Bir Bahadur Oli from District Police Office, SP Dipak Adhikari from APF and some journalists present to assist.
