The candidacy nomination for the House of Representative (HoR) and State Assembly election went peacefully nationwide according to our district representatives. The registration of candidacy nomination by the political parties have been peacefully conducted in Tanahu, Kaski, Syangja and Parbat and Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta Eastern) under the province number 4 with various activities on November 2.
According to the district representatives, the registration of candidacy nomination was exuberant and peaceful. Kaski district representative Sangeeta Bhat said that the nomination of candidacy registration commenced in the district from the mid-day along with the rally however, the political parties used big flags and banners against the election code of conduct. The candidacy nomination registration was closely monitored by INSEC, NHRC, journalists and Women and Children Office of the district.
According to the district representatives, the alliance of leftist had used children during the candidacy nomination against the election code of conduct. Salyan district representative Meena Budathoki said that RPP Nepal and leftist alliance have violated the election code of conduct as children were used during the registration of candidacy nomination. Meanwhile, in Nepalgunj, children were used by the leftist alliance during the registration of candidacy nomination.
In province number 7, the registration of candidacy nomination for the second phase of HoR and State assembly election on December 7 was peaceful.
According to District representative Rabina Chaudhary of Kailali, the registration of candidacy nomination was peaceful in the district. For the HoR election five and for the state assembly 10 constituencies have been determined in the district where there are 231 poling centers out of which 77 polling centers are categorized as very sensitive and 37 are to be normal according to the security committee of the district.
In, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Sindhuli, Ramechhap, Rautahat, bara, Parsa, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Lalitpur, Kavre, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu, the registration of candidacy nomination went peacefully according to our district representatives.
Over all, the registration of candidacy nomination for the second phase of HoR and state assembly election was peaceful and exuberant according to the INSEC district representatives nationwide. No significant incidents or clashes were reported during the process.
