Rape accused surrenders to Police
Ward chairman Jhak Bahadur Kumal , 34 of Ghiring Rural Municipality-4, surrenders himself in front of police on January 11. He was accused of raping 17 years old girl on May 8 and complaint against him was lodged at District Police Office on May 13 by the victim’s family. After the complaint, the accused was at large. The victim underwent health checkup at Damauli Hospital on May 11. The District Police office said that the accused is remanded in custody by the court order.
