Rape Accused Arrested
Police has arrested Sujit Kumar Yadav, 19, of Dhangadimai Municipality-8 and Santosh Mahato, 20, of Golbazaar Municipality- 2 on 5 January charging them of rape on a 20 years old woman.
The victim was raped by them on 5 January and the complaint was filed at the Area Police Office and health checkup was conducted at the Siraha District Hospital on the same day.
According to Area Police Office Golbazaar’s Inspector Janak Puri, they were arrested immediately after the information was received and further investigation has started.
