Rally demonstrated against the election
Rastriya Janata Party Nepal has staged a lathi rally in Rajbiraj on May 28 against the government announcement of second phase of election on June 14. The party has warned that they will retaliate the second phase of election.
The rally started from the local Harinandeshwor Mahadev Mandir and was converted into triangle rally after reaching to Sahid Dashan Chok. The speakers in the program said that they will not let any election activity unless their demands are not addressed.
According to INSEC Nawalparasi representative Narayan Parajuli, the party has organized a lathi rally as a protest against the election.
According to INSEC district representative Ajaya Shah, Rastriya janata Party has organized a Lathi rally in Jaleshwor against the local level election. The rally started from the party office of Rastriya janata party at jaleshwor. The protestors demanded the government to address their issues prior to the election.
According to Siraha district representative Durga Pariyar, Lathi rally was organized in Siraha against the local level election. As per their scheduled program, the rally was demonstrated throughout the district according to the source.
They are in agitation affecting the scheduled local level election to be held on June 14. Lathi rally was staged in Siraha, Mirchaiya, Sukhipur and Lahan including various places according to the leaders Rakesh Jha of Rastriya Janta Party Nepal.
