Proportional Access of Dalit Community in state through local level
The participants of the program held in Biratnagar on March 21 stressed that the implementation of new constitution is only possible through proportional access of Dalit community in state through local level.
The program was jointly organized by NHRC regional office of Biratnagar and REDEF Nepal. The participants stressed that ensuring the access of Dalit community is only possible through the local level election.
Speaking at the program judge Krishna Lal Bhattarai of High court of Biratnagar said that if the access of Dalit community through local level is not ensured, it cannot be ensured in other bodies.
The program was organized on the occasion of 52nd International caste discrimination eradication day.
