Various programs have been organized in districts nationwide on September 5 on the occasion of 10th national day against Human Trafficking.
According to INSEC District Representative Komal Niranjan Bhatt of Kanchanpur, a rally program was jointly organized in the district by various organizations and rights activists, which started from District Administration Office and ended as triangle assembly at Madanchol.
The women and children Office of the district said that various public awareness program was organized in the district with coordination of VDC, municipality and local committee.
Manohar Pokhrel of INSEC Saptari said that an awareness rally program was organised in the district by District working committee against human trafficking. The rally was led by Chief District Officer Bal Dev Gautam, District Police Office and Community Service Center.
According to Kaski District Representative Bishnu Prasad Adhikari, a Teej song competition was organized against human trafficking. There were 12 women group in the competition.
In the competition, Women group from Dhikurpokhari stood first, Hemja group second and Women club Pokhara stood third. They were felicitated with prize.
Durga Pariyar of Siraha said that a morning rally was organized starting from Lekh Nath Park. The rally was organized by coordination committee against human trafficking, women and children office of Siraha, WOREC Nepal, District Police Office. After the rally program, an interaction program on foreign employment and its challenge was held.
