Political parties’ violating Code of Conduct
The political parties are violating the election code of conduct in the district during their election campaign and dissemination for the third phase of local level election scheduled for September 18. The parties are found to be using children and even teachers against the election code of conduct.
Similarly, posters and big banners along with flags were found to be hanging in Chok, private house and public places. They are using T-shirts, cap, and bags with election symbol against the conduct.
The paragraph 2 of the election code of conduct has strictly prohibited on using public places, historical and religious places or public place for election dissemination.
Election Officer Sharada Prasad Koirala was informed about the violation however he said that the office cannot take action until the complaint is lodged against them.
The political parties and candidates have officially denied of violating CoC.
