Orientation program against gender violence held
Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) provincial office of Gandaki has organized orientation program at Shukla Gandaki Municipality-9 on December 2 to mark a 16 days campaign against gender violence.
The program was facilitated by advocate Surendra Kaphle , women development officer Sita Thapa and program coordinator Sabnam Sharma of INSEC Gandaki.
Speaking at the program, vice-mayor Sabita Rai of the municipality said that complaints of gender violence can by lodged at judicial Committee however the complaints are received based on its sensitivity.
She added that no one can inflict violence based on gender. The program was participated by various stakeholders of the district.
