One million Rupees handed over to the Martyr family
The vice prime minister and home minister Bimelendra Nidhi has handed over a cheque of one million to five family members of martyr on May 15 as a relief.
The cheque was handed over in three months after the incident. It was handed over in the resident of CDO Krishna Bahadur Katuwal during a program.
While addressing the program ,Nidhi said that the relief was distributed to the family members as a relief and expressed his condolences to the family members who had lost their lives in a police firing during Madhesi agitation. During a program, he also informed that three member committee has been formed under the coordination of former justice Akabar Mikrani to investigate the incident at declaring the deceased as a martyr. Sanjan Mehata, Pitamber lal Mandal, Ananda Kumar Shah, Birendra Mehata and Iner Dev Yadav were killed in a police firing during a clash between police and Madhesi morcha cadres during the Mechi-Mahakali campaign of CPN UML.
