Nirmala Killing incident: The family postpones sit-in-protest
Family of Nirmala Panta who were staging a sit-in-protest demanding the action against the guilty from November 11 has postponed their protest on February 22.
They were in a sit-in-protest in front of the District Administration Office from November 11.
According to the victim’s family, the sit-in-protest was postponed due to the deteriorating health condition of the family members. The victim’s father Yagya Raj had some health issues previously and he underwent health checkup at TUTH in Kathmandu.
The victim’s family said that they will continue to exert pressure after their health condition becomes normal.
Nirmala Panta,13 of Bhimdatta Municipality-2 was killed after rape seven months ago and the guilt is still at large. Police is undergoing micro investigation on this incident.
