Nine children from the “Children Home” rescued

At least nine children from the “Children Home” operating at Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolis were rescued and re-established. The children home “New Vision” operated by Jyoti Gurung  was not following the basic criteria and children were at risk. Five boys and four girls were rescued on May 19 by the team from District Administration office of Kaski, Women and Children Office, Central child wale fare committee, Human Rights Commission, INSEC Pokhara,Three Angles Nepal including the team of journalists according to chairperson Tulsa Aryal of women and children office of Kaski.

The children home was illegally being operated and it was not following any criteria according to source person Badri Prasad  Wagle of Central Child Wale fare committee.
