News paper editor arrested
The District Police Office of Siraha has arrested the editor of Anukalpa daily, Arjun Thapaliya, 50 of Golbazar Municipality on November 22.
He was arrested from Golbazar while he was returning back from the work and was kept in Area Police Office of Dhangadhi for the night. Two policemen in a civilian dress had arrested Thapaliya from Dhangadhi and was taken to Kathmandu. Thapaliya said that he was arrested by the police without showing him any warrant.
According to SP Shyam Gyawali, Thapaliya was arrested under the cyber crime case as per the direction from Kathmandu metropolitan circle Kathmandu.
