The conflict victims have demanded the government that the negligent officials of the commission who are apathetic on their work must be black listed.
The victims complained that they did not received any justice since a long time. They expressed their views while speaking at the program in an interaction program on transitional justice, reparation and local government on the occasion of international truth rights day on March 25 organized in Ilam.
They complained of not getting justice, relief and reparation which is already late. The conflict victims said that they are further more victimized due to the internal conflict between the officials of the commission and demanded government to black list them who are not working on behalf of the victims.
Conflict victim Tej Maya Gurung who lost her husband during the conflict period said that conflict affected children are still deprived of education, health and employment.
Chairperson Damodar Chapagain of Sajha Chautari, Ilam said that the victims are still waiting for economic, social and psychological rights. He added that they need rights rather than services and facilities.
Rights activist Mohan Singh Thebe said that officials who are neglecting their job must be black listed and government must dare to take such step.
Speaking at the program journalist Bhim Chapagain said that victims have lost faith on both commissions.
