This has affected the senior citizen, single women, Dalit children, person with disability.
A total of 512 people of Malekpur VDC, 398 of Manraja VDC and 547 VDC of Haripur were deprived from social allowance due to the negligence of secretaries from District Development Committee.
According to the information provided by Hari Lal Chaudhary of Panjikaran branch, 345 Dalit senior citizens, 384 other senior citizens, 270 single women, 446 Dalit children and eight people with disability were affected.
The installment was obstructed because of all three VDCs not presenting the previous year’s bill amount of allowance.
The VDC secretaries could not present the bill because they have used the first and second instalment amount for their personnel use despite of distributing it.
