Police have arrested the cadres of Nepal Communist Party from various part of the country on charge of operating ant-election activities according to our district representatives.
According to Chitwan District representative Deependra Adhikari, Nepal Communist party’s District in charge Lal Bahadur BC was arrested by the police on November 19 from Narayangadh area.
They were arrested so as to prevent possible threat to the election according to DSP Prabhu Dhakal of District Police Office. Prior to this Chitwan police have arrested two cadres of NCP.
According to the District representative Nawadeep Shrestha of Nuwakot, 28 years old Ananta Dhital of Nepal Communist Party was arrested by the police on November 19 according to DSP Madhukar Jung Bista. Dhital is a district member of Nepal Communist Party.
According to the Sankhuwasabha district representative Babu Ram Bastola, police have arrested two cadres of Nepal Communist party from various places of the district on November 18 on charge of operating anti-election activities.
The arrested were 30 years old Nisha Limbu and 32 years old Dev Raj Puri of Khandbari municipality according to CDO Shiva Raj Joshi. They were arrested for the investigation according to police. The security situation has been tightened in the district after serious of anti-election activities is rampant.
According to INSEC district representative Meena Budathoki of Salyan, three district level leaders of Nepal Communist Party were arrested. The arrested were 35 years old Tulsi Ram Khatri of Kalimati Rural municipality-4, Dimure and 33 years old Krishna Oli.
The cadres were charged of destroying election materials for voter’s education.
According to Rolpa district representative Madhav Oli, police have arrested six cadres of Nepal Communist party on November 19 from Subarnawati rural municipality-5, Qualigaun along with the bomb making materials.
The arrested were district members Dhan Bahadur Thapa, Bir Bahadur Oli, Him Lal Pun, Min Ram Bista, Khadga bahadur KC and Aaita Ram Oli according to inspector Sudarshan Panthi of District Police Office of Rolpa.
Police said that bomb and bomb making materials were confiscated from them.
