Minister alleged of distributing money to voters
Forest minister Shankar Bhandary has been accused of distributing money during the assembly of Nepali Congress on May 8 at Bhanu Municipality -1 against the election code of conduct.
The locals accused minister of distributing money to voters from Salbisne neglecting the election code of conduct.
The locals immediately protested after getting the information about the incident. After the protest, the minister fled the scence.
After the incident, the site was tensed for a while and cadres from CPN UML, Maoist centre gathered in the site and begun their protest.
From Bhanu municipality, Udaya Raj Gauli and Asha Thapa are the candidate for the post of Mayor and vice-mayor from Nepali congress. Minister Bhandary had addressed the election assembly during the election campaign at Bhanu and Purkot on May7.
