Mental patient chained for 17 years, rescued
Mental patient Lila Prasad Chaulagain of Rajgadh Village council-8, who has been tied with a chain for the last 17 years has been rescued with the help of INSEC district representative and a team of NGO. The victim has been admitted to the hospital.
The victim was immidiately rescued n coordination with local administratiom after the news regarding him was made public in various media and tabloids.
The rescued victim has been admitted to B&C Teaching Hospital in Birtamod. The executive director of the hospital Durga Prasai said that the hospital will cover all his medical expenses. Acting CDO Bhim Prasad Tiwari and INSEC representative Arjun Basnet reached to the victim’s house along with media personel after the request of rescue of the victim was recieved.
The victim’s mother had urged for the financial support to treat her son.
