Memorandum handed over to province government demanding to end Women Violence

Women representatives, civil society and women rights activists have demanded the government of province 4 to take step on controlling the women violence.

A team of activists and lawyers have met the chief minister on May 2 and handed over the memorandum demanding to control women violence.

The team met chief minister Prithvi Subba Gurung, Social Development Minister Nara Devi Pun, house speaker Netra Nath Adhikari and vice house speaker Srijana Sharma and handed over the memorandum and also urged to cover women rights and their empowerment in a provincial budget
