Medicine Shortage in Health Organizations, Patients facing difficulties
It has been reported that there is a shortages in medicine in various health organizations in Okhaldhunga. Most of the patients are compelled to return back after not being able to get treatment.
In District Hospital of Rumjataar , one primary health center and 54 health posts, there are shortages in medicine that was declared free by the government. Patients are compelled to buy such medicine by paying higher price in local pharmacies.
After the crunch in medicines, the people from remote area are deprived from the health rights.
Information officer Mohan Subedi of District Health Office said that the medicine is not delivered by the branch since one year. He accused medicine department of not sending medicine by showing many reasons.
